Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides acute care for patients recovering from the effects of general or regional anesthesia. During the patient's stay in the PACU nurse continuously monitors vital signs, airway maintenance, surgical incisions, and pain control while providing the appropriate interventions for that patient. | Same Day Admission Unit (SDU) The Same Day Unit offers safe and efficient outpatient surgical care for patients who do not need a long hospital stay. These patients have the benefit of recuperating from the procedure in the comfort of their own homes. Patients also have the added dimension of highly trained staff and state-of-the-art equipment readily available if need for additional observation should arise.
The Same Day Unit provides the preoperative assessment and presurgical preparation for patients admitted the day of surgery and who are staying for a few days after surgery. Comprehensive care is provided to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Our services include:
- Dental/Oral Surgery
- ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat)
- General Surgery
