Graduate Nurse Internships

It has been determined that we will be conducting a Graduate Nurse Internship program starting in January 2010.

All new graduates will need to apply to the job posting titled "Graduate Nurse Internship 2010". As information is gained on the specific units which will be hiring, we will update this web page and the job posting to inform you of those units.

*For May 2010 graduates*

We anticipate that we will conduct an internship program in the summer of 2010. Information regarding the job posting, application dates, etc. will be posted here as new information is gained. This information will also include when you will begin to apply and interview.

Designed for new nursing graduates ready to apply their knowledge to practice, this structured educational program has interns working side-by-side with an RN preceptor to gain clinical experience. Once interviewed and hired for a specific unit, the internship begins with a two-week didactic portion followed by extensive clinical experience on the unit with a preceptor. Working side-by-side with an RN preceptor, you’ll share in the challenges that occur every day at our facility, while enjoying personal growth and skill advancement. Peer support, nurturing, and continuous feedback will be provided throughout the experience.

The internship is a full-time position with pay and benefits starting your first day of hire. Choices of focus include Critical Care, Intermediate Care, Medical, Surgical, Pediatrics and more. Upon successful completion, you will be offered a full-time RN position on the unit with a competitive salary and benefits package.
