Organization Attains Elite Magnet Recognition

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center was notified in August, 2007, that it has been awarded Magnet Recognition—the nursing profession’s highest honor for health care organizations—by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). After three years of focused effort, we submitted 2,200 pages of evidence to the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in March 2007.
